North Down Marquees Electrical Division is highly trained to transform your event from the ordinary to the extraordinary.

Lighting

We offer a full range of lighting services for interior and exterior events. Our standard gold, 8 branch chandeliers are complimented by our aluminium up lighters, LED colour changing up lighters and theatrical power can lighting. Add a touch of glass to lighting with our sophisticated Glass Chandeliers. All of these options can be installed with a dimmer system.

Our favourite starlight lining is now all upgraded to LED and designed to fit either the walls or roofs of marquees.

Heating

We have many ways of providing your event with the right amount of heat to give you that cosy feel.

Tripod Infared Heaters (13amp power supply).

Thermostatically controlled dual fuel heaters (13amp power supply). These units are located outside the marquee and the heat is piped in.

3 phase electric heaters ((a more effective heat source) – These units can be used in a variety of venues; marquees, warehouses and more.

What size marquee do I need?

Marquee size depends on guest numbers, layout (seated dining vs standing), and extras like dancefloor, bar, catering and staging. We’ll confirm the best size during your site visit and quotation process.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for summer weekends and peak wedding dates. Popular weekends can book out months in advance.

Can you supply flooring, lighting and heating?

Yes — we can provide complete packages including flooring, lighting, heating, furniture and finishing touches to suit the style and season of your event.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Our marquees are installed securely with weather in mind. We’ll advise on positioning, anchoring and optional add-ons like flooring and heating to keep guests comfortable.
